About Me
I’m passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges. After a career in the environmental and business sectors, where I loved helping my team members develop, I realised my true calling was in helping people on a deeper, more personal level. This led me to train as a person-centred counsellor. Drawing on my professional experience and my own experience of life and loss, I offer a safe, accepting space for you to explore, heal, and grow.

How I work
As a person-centered counsellor, I will provide a caring, non-judgmental, and safe environment for you to explore and process the issues and challenges facing you. By listening, encouraging, and empathising, I will help you see your issues more clearly or from a different perspective, enabling you to develop, grow and heal.
As a complementary therapist, I know that massage and reiki can help calm the nervous system, reduce the brain’s fight/flight response, and assist in healing trauma. Where appropriate and guided by the client I am able to provide blended sessions, combining counselling with massage/energy work to help them process and release emotions both psychologically and physically.
I offer therapy sessions to adults from the age of 18 in person in Carluke, and online, and will be opening a therapy centre in Lanark in May 2025. I have a broad range of experience in counselling clients with a variety of mental health issues, including stress, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and more.
