About Me

Therapy is something that has helped me get in touch with my authentic self and helped me realise that I want to help others as they discover their own paths. As a qualified Person-Centred counsellor, I’m here to help on this journey. I strongly believe in the power of counselling and its ability to help empower people within their own lives. We all have the skills within ourselves; sometimes it takes a bit of support to discover them.

How I work

The modern world can leave us feeling alone, isolated and that our struggles are some sort of personal failing. We can have little time or space to process these emotions and experiences. It’s a lot for a person to try and sort through by themself. It’s okay to reach out for help from someone willing and trained to help.

I will not make attempts to diagnose, offer ready-made solutions or try to ‘fix’ you. Within the counselling relationship that we develop, you may start to trust that you are the expert on what you are going through. I’ll be alongside you, providing a confidential, safe and non-judgmental space, to allow you to explore these emotions and experiences.
