About Me

As a person-centred counsellor, my belief is that the relationship you create with your therapist is important for a good outcome in therapy. I know that it can feel overwhelming when you are trying to choose the right counsellor for you, it is important that you have a space where you feel safe, supported and comfortable to explore your thoughts and feelings.

How I work

My hope is to offer you compassion, to always be genuine and transparent in our relationship so that trust is felt at the heart of it. My aim is that you feel I respect your dignity in a non-judgemental space as I sit along side you but never leading or directing you.

The person-centered approach encourages you to find your own solutions and empowers you to take control of your own personal growth. By fostering an authentic therapeutic relationship, you can navigate challenges from the past or present discovering your potential in an environment that enables you to have a deeper understanding of yourself, and the outcome that feels right for you.

I have had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, helping build resilience, improve self-awareness and find solutions that work for them. Trauma of any kind is individual and I will aim to meet you wherever you need me within that process for you.
